There are seven nationalities in Seven Kingdoms; id est Chinese, Vikings, Maya, Japanese, Persians, Greeks, and Normans with another three in Ancient Adversaries, being Mughuls, Egyptians, and Zulus. Nationalities differ in strength, weakness, and attack method; id est basic melee, range, and berserk attack. One nationality's weakness can be exploited by another's strength. Each nationality has a unique Greater Being that compliments a nationality's unique qualities.

In addition to human units with a combat role, there are war machines which are not available to the player upon starting a game. The player must research them in a tower of science, and each war machine, excluding the catapult, ballista, and the ships transports and traders, must have its prerequisite technology researched before becoming available for research. This includes Caravels and Galleons which are advanced technology, considering their multi-purpose role of quick transport, trader, and cannon equipped sea vessel. War machines are produced in a factory of war, and ships are produced in harbors. They are powerful attack units yet expensive.

There are Fryhtans which are similar to independent units. Fryhtans have three settings: none which means there will be no fryhtans in that game, defensive which means fryhtans will be in the game but will not attack unless provoked with violence, and hostile which means they will spontaneously attack nations.

This page will give unit information. The unit information is stored in the resource files. Each unit has a maximum HP and one or more attacks. This page lists the raw numbers for units and attacks as used by 7kaa.

The following tables list the attack information. An attack can have a minimum combat level requirement and may require power to be used. Some of the attacks occur in cycles, which is indicated by "Eqv attack next" being different from 0, for instance attacks 4, 5 and 6.

The following tables list the information of each unit, such as HP, armour, the first attack ID and the number of attacks. The attack ID can be looked up in the attack tables below to find the attack information for each unit.

Terminology

Basic attack means there is no skill requirement.

Basic range attack means there is no skill requirement.

Basic defense means there is no skill requirement.

Special attack aka Berserker attack means a strong hit with a long delay.

Pierce damage is a bit of a misnomer, as it is actually the portion of damage that scales from 0 to the displayed value as the unit goes from combat level 0 to 100. The unit's fixed damage is (proportional to) 'Damage + PierceDamage * (UnitCombatLevel - CombatLevel) / (100 - CombatLevel)'. In other words, the 'Damage' is the unit's base damage and the 'Pierce damage' is the bonus damage as the unit gains experience (combat level).

Average damage per delay (ADPD) because average damage per second cannot be used due to variable game speed.

Summary Calculation

Units have a basic attack damage stat. Real attack damage is: Attack + random(3) + pierce_damage * random(combat_level - base_combat_level) / (100-base_combat_level)

Where Attack is the units base attack stat, pierce_damage is a second attack stat whose effect is added in a random basis and scales with combat level and base_combat_level is the combat level needed for a unit to be able to perform the specified attack (typically 0 for melee, 50 for ranged/special).

So for a melee attack, base_combat_level is 0, and we get that damage is: Attack + random(3) + pierce_damage * random(combat_level) / 100 Such that pierce damage is added in a linear fashion as the unit progresses.

For the ranged/special attack, which is typically at combat level 50: Attack + random(3) + pierce_damage * random(combat_level - 50) / 50 Such that pierce damage is again added in a linear fashion as the unit progresses in the second phase.
